Our office is located just east of the 405, between Slauson and Sepulveda in Culver City. From Del Rey, the drive is straightforward and quick. Whether you're coming from Jefferson Boulevard or Centinela Avenue, you'll be parked and inside within ten minutes.

Meet Dr. Hayley and Dr. Ray

What makes us worth the drive? Honestly, it starts with Dr. Hayley. Before she became a dentist, she was a hygienist right here in our office. She spent years chairside before going to dental school and then completing USC's pediatric residency program. By the time she graduated, she already knew our patients and our families. She knew exactly what we stood for. That kind of background doesn't come from a residency alone, and it shows every time she meets a toddler who's never been to the dentist before.

Dr. Ray has been practicing pediatric dentistry for years as well. He completed his training at USC and Miller Children's Hospital, is board-certified, and speaks fluent Spanish. His philosophy comes down to doing less, not more. If your child's teeth look fine and you're doing the right things at home, that's exactly what he'll tell you. There's no pressure to do something that isn't needed. Both Dr. Ray and Dr. Hayley take a conservative approach to treatment, and if you're the kind of parent who wants a thoughtful second opinion before agreeing to anything, you'll feel right at home here.

What to Expect at Your Child's First Visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children see a dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth coming in. We know that surprises a lot of parents. But first visits are not about drills or procedures. They're about meeting us, getting your child comfortable in a new space, and giving you information you can actually use. You leave knowing more than when you walked in. That kind of foundation is hard to put a price on.

We follow your child's lead throughout the visit. Some toddlers hop right into the chair and want to know what every tool does. Others are perfectly happy sitting in your lap and watching from a distance. Both are completely fine with us. There's no expectation your child has to meet, and we're not going to push them through something they're not ready for.

Every child's mouth tells a slightly different story, and we treat it that way. How often does your child snack? Are they still taking a bottle before bed? Are you using the right amount of toothpaste for their age? The answers shape the guidance we give you. We're not handing you a pamphlet. We're having a real conversation about what's actually going on and what adjustments, if any, would make a difference.

Services We Offer and Insurance We Accept

For services, we handle cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, silver diamine fluoride for small cavities in very young children, and early orthodontic monitoring. When a filling is needed, we use tooth-colored materials and work at your child's pace the entire time. On insurance, we're in-network with most PPO plans, including Aetna, Delta, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, United Healthcare, and many others. We don't participate in HMO, DMO, or EPO plans.
