Our office is just east of the 405, between Slauson and Sepulveda in Culver City. From View Park-Windsor Hills, the drive takes about ten to fifteen minutes. We serve families from Ladera Heights, Westchester, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, and surrounding neighborhoods. Parking is easy, and we keep our schedule tight, so your time is respected.

What a Long-Term Relationship With Us Looks Like

Here's what it actually looks like. Your child comes in around their first birthday, or whenever that first tooth shows up. We meet each other. We count some teeth, take a look around, and talk with you about what's happening at home. It's low-key. Nothing about it resembles the dentist visits you probably remember from childhood.

Then you come back every six months. Each time, we're tracking how teeth are coming in, watching for early signs of anything worth addressing, and updating our guidance based on what we see. When your child is three, those visits look different than when they're one. When they're five, different again. We adjust as they grow. That continuity is one of the most valuable things we can offer a family.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children see a dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth coming in. That timeline exists for a reason. Problems caught early are almost always smaller and easier to handle than those found later. But more than that, starting early means your child builds a relationship with the dentist before there's ever any real work to do. That familiarity matters more than most parents expect.

Meet Dr. Ray Klein and Dr. Hayley Botwin

Dr. Ray completed his pediatric training at USC and Miller Children's Hospital and is board-certified. He speaks fluent Spanish, which means Spanish-speaking families can have the same honest conversation in the language they're most comfortable in. Dr. Hayley completed USC's pediatric residency program and brought that training directly into our office. Both of them take a conservative approach. If something can wait, or be handled with changes at home, that's always the first recommendation. We'd rather help you prevent a problem than fix one.

We follow your child's lead during visits. Some toddlers are curious and cooperative from the start. Others need more time, and that's completely fine. We don't push anyone through an appointment before they're ready. The goal is for your child to leave feeling good about what happened.

How Our Guidance Changes as Your Child Grows

What we talk about changes as your child gets older. In the early years, it's mostly about bottles, brushing, and diet. How often are they snacking? Are they falling asleep with milk? What does their toothpaste routine look like? These questions matter because what happens at home between visits has more impact on your child's teeth than anything we do in the chair. We give you practical answers, not a list of rules. As they get older, we shift the conversation toward how permanent teeth are coming in, whether spacing looks right, and when it might make sense to think about orthodontics.

Services We Offer and Insurance We Accept

For services, we handle cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, silver diamine fluoride for early cavities in very young kids, and early orthodontic monitoring. When fillings are needed, we use tooth-colored materials and work at your child's pace. Every visit ends with a prize, and most kids ask when they can come back before they leave the building.
